Information about appointment scheduling

The first appointment at the Vascular Surgery Outpatient Clinic of the Polyclinic UCCS is scheduled by the patient’s chosen primary care physician from the local health center through the IZIS system. Free time slots for the following month are opened on the 6th day of the current month. The primary care doctor can refer the patient with a priority referral (when the diagnosis justifies it). The validity of such a referral is 24 hours.

Follow‑up appointments within six months (while the original referral is still valid) are scheduled by the vascular surgeon who performed the previous examination.

Emergency service

• Working days – mornings: The vascular outpatient clinic is located in the premises of the former Emergency Center, where non‑hospitalized patients are examined, including additional ultrasound diagnostics.
• Afternoons and non‑working days: The Emergency Center is open 24 hours a day, where vascular patients are examined, when needed, in the General Surgery Outpatient Clinic (Clinic no. 2).
• Patients previously operated at the Clinic: Our doors are always open. In urgent situations there is no need to wait for formalities; the referral can be obtained afterwards.
